The Salient is a forgiving shaver with moderate blade gap and exposure, suitable for beginner and expert alike. It will shave you closely, smoothly, and comfortably. It is CNC machined, with critical tolerances of 0.05mm.
The finish was created by a two-stage process which yields a smooth, bright, satin appearance. We bead blasted the razors to break rough edges and minimize the appearance of tool marks, then electropolished to brighten it. Electropolishing also provides outstanding passivation, which helps minimize the tendency toward rusting. Together with our upgrade to 316 stainless, which many customers requested, the razor will resist corrosion admirably.
